Experience
Report directly to the Project Director and oversee day-to-day operations of the Building Control Department. Supervise and assign tasks to Building Inspectors related to new constructions and under-construction houses. Ensure strict monitoring of construction sites through daily, weekly, and monthly inspection schedules, with proper documentation and inspection cards. Review and verify architectural and structural drawings for compliance with approved building regulations and standards. Prepare and maintain detailed reports on building code violations and coordinate necessary corrective actions. Handle daily public visits, listen to resident concerns, and ensure timely resolution of issues related to construction and approvals. Conduct interviews and oversee the registration process of new contractors and builders. Review and sign architectural drawings submitted for construction approvals. Maintain a comprehensive digital record of inspections, approvals, and correspondence using computer-based systems.
